WHO WE ARE

South Lake Youth is for students 6-12th grade

 

Our mission is to serve and disciple youth and their families in Lake and Porter County.

We want to help youth discover who they are, what they can do, and where they belong.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At South Lake Youth, any student from any background can fit right in. We have fun together and help create deep friendships.

This is an environment where no question is off the table.

We work to make sure all of the youth who come to South Lake feel welcome and loved as they are and leave feeling connected, encouraged, and challenged!

SERVING OTHERS

We provide opportunities for youth to serve others together. Nothing strengthens compassion like helping someone else, whether with raking leaves or serving on a week-long mission trip.

MORE MENTORS"

We take this to heart and want to surround our youth with adults who care about them, listen to them, and encourage them through life’s challenges. Mentors have the unique position to speak wisdom into the passions and giftings of each young person.

WHEN WE MEET

We have 2 youth gatherings every week.

 

Sunday Morning at 9:00am we gather to

– learn more about God and the Bible,

– encourage each other,

– and pray together.

 

Sunday Night at 5:30pm we meet to

– hangout (w/ snacks!)

– do games or other activities

– ask questions about life, faith, or other important topics!
